Visionary sessions rooted in the Earth
My practice is based in Mexican Traditional Medicine and Curanderismo, which is in itself a syncretic mixing of Mexican, African, and European traditional healing techniques. I have infused it with my own healing journey, gifts, and collection of trainings, including somatic practices, herbalism, inner child work, psychic mediumship, and ancestral elevation work. I extend gratitude to those who carry these lineages, including Panquetzani Ticitl, Norma Yexas Contreras, Batul Trueheart, Atava Garcia Swiecicki, and Day Elliott and those on the ancestral realm who have guided me.
I begin all sessions by dropping into ceremonial space, drawing cards, and setting intentions. I may be psychic, but I don’t know more about you than you. I attune to not only the person in front of me but also their familial and chosen lineages, and align myself with their efforts, offering my perspective and technique. Each session is a co-creation, and adjustments can be made to work on a no-touch, subtle yet palpable energetic level if desired.

This practice has many components including aligning the hips and whole body, with special attention placed on abdominal massage, in which warm oiled hands move in a spiral on the belly to clear blockages. But the belly is not just a set of organs, it’s a tender place where most of the waters of our body live, and therefore where our deep emotional life can be accessed. The visionary component takes place when physical blockages have their root in stored past events in one’s own lifetime, ancestral presences, or epigenetic patterning. We work together to call in spirit supports, set intentions, clear what you’re ready to let go of, acknowledge what needs to be grieved, and tend to your commitment to continually discover your true emergent self. Though I learned this in a womb-focused context, the benefits are applicable regardless of anatomy.

It is common for most of us who have wombs to experience discomfort from time to time, or even frequently. From a Mexican Traditional medicine perspective, many complaints stem from the uterus being too cold, affected by intestinal congestion or inflammation, or physically out of place. Womb alignment uses aromatic herbs and manual techniques, not only these physical complaints, but also to put the person in touch with their essential energy, autonomy, and power.

I’m so excited to be offering this service! In the Mexican traditional Medicine perspective, the main actions of pregnancy bodywork are to help create space for baby and parent’s organs to adjust themselves, and support the hips. Because in pregnancy we experience more flexibility in the hips (and all joints) at the same time as getting heavier over time, it is important to support the hip alignment. To this end, I work with rebozos (traditional shawls) to adjust the pelvis and teach people how to wrap their hips while they go about their daily lives. I also love coaching partners or family members in supporting the pregnant person using touch and basic techniques.

This service is for those who have given birth, whether it is live birth, miscarriage, or planned pregnancy release. It cues the physical (organs, bones) emotional, and energetic closing process, focusing on alignment and integration of the experience as a whole. During the first 6 weeks, while the portal is still open, it is especially well timed to make lasting changes on a deep level, to lock in nourishment and sweetness that goes back and forward seven generations. Whole body swaddling with rebozos can be a deeply regulating and centering experience.

A limpia (from limpiar, to clean), is a ritual to either attract and harmonize or cut dense energies and free blockages. A typical limpia can include: a bundle of aromatic fresh herbs, dry herbs for smoke medicine, and an egg for absorbing strong energies and reading them. Depending on the session, intuitive words of affirmation, acknowledgement, closing chapters, and messages from spirit can be shared.

This is my newest offering and in many ways the oldest. In 2018 I had a psychic opening following a meditation retreat and since then I have been using intermediaries like herbs, astrology, and bodywork as a framework. Recently, I have felt boundaried and grounded enough to offer this as a standalone service. Under the tutelage of Day Elliott, i have been cultivating my psychic discernment and learned different kinds of techniques for readings, including accessing akashic records, past lives, relationship readings, and clearing energetic blocks. At the center of my practice is my ability to translate visionary metaphor from one’s inner realms to illuminate nuance and create the conditions to make decisions from a wiser state of mind.

My Limpia session with Carmina was a deep healing experience that has allowed my body and soul to blossom more gently into my truest self. Carmina has a beautiful way of honoring the sacred communication with herbs and plants that both honors and plays with their medicine. Through her innate wisdom and ancestral connection, Carmina is able to hold a container for the plant realm to work through her with such grace and beauty. I am forever grateful for the gift of Carmina’s Limpias and can confidently say that I am more in touch with myself and the earth because of the medicine she offers.
